GUERNSEY ICE CREAM: DELICIOUS MICHIGAN MADE DAIRY

This family run business has been making incredible ice cream with local, hormone-free milk for 70 years.

A single scoop of ice cream is just a little over $2 while a double is a little over $4. I personally thought the single was plenty of ice cream, but like the idea you can get two flavors with the double. As far as the restaurant, everything is less than $15, most things ranging in price from $5-$10.

Guernsey feels like a small town place. When you arrive, you will most likely see people sitting outside on their trademark “big rock” or the grass enjoying their ice cream. This place is filled with couples, families, and friends. The ice cream parlor is always packed, but they have their service down to a science, getting you in and out in no time. The most difficult part will be picking your flavor as they have boards full of creative options. I went with a single scoop of the chocolate moose tracks and my hubby had a double; one scoop of mint chocolate chip and the other peanut butter moose tracks… every last scrape of the bowl was delicious!
