NOVI, MI — A family dog mauled a 5-day-old infant to death in an Oakland County home Tuesday, according to police.
The incident happened in a home at the Oakland Glens mobile home park in Novi, according to police.
A family member said the dog attacked the baby girl inside the home, Fox 2 Detroit reported.

The infant was taken to a nearby hospital where she died, police said.
