Novi High Students Help Hurricane Victims
Novi High Student Council will collect donations on Sept. 15.

NOVI, MI - From Novi Community School District: In an effort to support those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, students at Novi High School are seeking community support to collect much needed diapers for victims of the two devastating storms that brutalized parts of Texas and Florida.
Under the duress of leaving their homes, many hurricane evacuees don't have the time or mindset to pack diapers before they leave the rising waters, and, many of the shelters helping them don't have stockpiles for babies and senior citizens.
The Novi High School Student Council is collecting baby diapers and pull ups, as well as disposable undergarments for the elderly and disabled, during the school day this Friday, Sept. 15. These donated items can be dropped off in a collection bin in the lobby of the school’s front office.
