Novi Middle School Team Reaches Regional Robotics Competition

A team from Novi Middle School is one of 13 Michigan schools set to compete in a regional robotics competition in Iowa, according to a press release.
The FIRST Tech Challenge, sponsored by DTE Energy Foundation, the Edison Electric Institute and the Center for Energy Workforce Development, is a program that encourages science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in students from seventh to 12th grade, the release stated.
The regional competition will be March 26-28 in Des Moines, followed by the national competition April 22-25 in St. Louis.
