The Novi Educational Foundation with the support of The Suburban Collection has been awarding excellent teachers for 12 years. The Novi Community School District nominates three teachers; one each at the elementary, middle and high school level. This year’s other two nominated teachers were Emily Pohlonski , a Genetics, Medical Technology and Medical Careers teacher from Novi High School and Eric Center an eighth grade American History teacher at Novi Middle School. The Executive Board of the Novi Educational Foundation completes a second review of the nominee’s applications, solicits additional feedback from parents, students and the community, and then makes the difficult decision of selecting the winner.
