Sweetest Day traces its roots back to 1921. This holiday was created in Cleveland, OH, and it is primarily celebrated in the Midwest. Therefore, if you’re not a native Michigander, this might be the first time you’ve ever heard of this holiday. 1. Enjoy a Haunted House Together - Science indicates that going to a haunted house is a great way to kick-start romance, and the Metro Detroit area has almost 60 haunts to choose from.
