Toasted Oak Celebrates 5th Anniversary
Toasted Oak Grill Market is celebrating its 5-year anniversary by hosting a party with Moet Hennessy benefitting the Greening of Detroit
Attendees will enjoy a strolling dinner created by award-winning Toasted Oak Executive Chef Brian Kanak featuring: House-made Charcuterie and Local Cheeses; Chef’s selection, seasonal accoutrements, crackers, baguette; Bacon caramel popcorn; Smoked Venison hot dog; Michigan grass-fed coney sauce; House-made Mortadella sliders with Pickled mustard seeds, castelvetrano lardo spread, pistachio on a brioche roll; Michigan Bison Pasties; Roasted root vegetables, herbs; Perch Po Boy with lettuce and remoulade; Whole Roasted Hog; Zingerman’s goat mac & cheese; Cole slaw; Beet BBQ, Michigan Cherry BBQ and Mustard BBQ; Brochettes featuring Michigan shrimp, house-cured bacon; Full Circle Lamb, mint verde, pickled grape; Bad Axe Venison, pickled blueberry, apple; Vernors Braised goat tacos with Pico de gallo, guacamole, pickled cabbage, roasted tomatillo salsa, lime crema. The menu also includes a Faygo Float station; assorted house-made ice creams; and a Detroit Pop Shop with assorted regular and boozy popsicles.
Moët Hennessy is bringing in their U.S. Ambassador, Cathy Chan, to curate a Hennessey tasting and introduce guests to a variety of creative libations.
Attendees will also experience both a Cognac tasting and a champagne room. Attendees also receive a bottle of Veuve Clicquot as well as 2 drink tickets. The first 50 people receive a bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège.
