Jenna volunteers at the Fleishman’s Memory Care Center and tutors high school and elementary students in all subject areas. She is the daughter of Daniel and Lisa Sperling.

Honig plans to attend Washington and Lee University to study pre-medicine. She has been a class representative to the Parent/Teacher/Student Association and pastpresident of her class. Yu plans to attend Eastern Michigan University to study Elementary Education. He has seven courses for college credit including IB Mathematics, volunteers for the Hickory Woods Elementary PTA and Novi Public Library, and is the Editor-in- Chief of the school newspaper, What’s Up Western. He has also been a valuable resource in transitioning the school newspaper to an online publication to increase readership. He is the son of Tak Shan and Joyann Yu.

Each year the PTSA Council awards scholarships to outstanding high school seniors. In memory of the late Irene Daniels, a strong PTA advocate in the Walled Lake community, the Council awards one scholarship at each high school. These students have shown incredible leadership qualities and commitment to the missions and values of the PTA.
