• Freshly paved Oakland County road torn up again, and Consumers Energy will foot the bill (wxyz.com) — Drivers and business owners in Lake Orion are dealing with fresh frustration as newly repaved Baldwin Road near Morgan is being torn up again so Consumers Energy can replace aging gas lines. The Oakland County Road Commission says the utility will pay to restore the pavement, but worries the repeated digging could weaken the road and hurt nearby businesses already losing customers to backups.
