• Kids returning to class, supply donation needs met after Dix Street Elementary fire (wwmt.com) — Paw Paw's school district is among several nearby communities donating classroom furniture so Dix Street Elementary students can restart classes Wednesday at Allegan's Pine Trails facility after a recent library fire. With local businesses and organizations covering all initial school supply needs, parents won't have to buy supplies right away while officials continue assessing fire damage and planning next steps.
