1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Westland Double Shooting: Police
A woman was killed and a man was injured in a Thursday morning double shooting in Westland, police said.
WESTLAND, MI — A woman was killed and a man was injured in a Thursday morning double shooting in Westland, police said.
Officers found a 32-year-old Romulus man and a 36-year-old Dearborn Heights woman suffering from a gunshot wound at 2 a.m. in the 37000 block of Scottsdale Circle near Newburgh and Joy roads, police said.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital where the woman died and the man was listed in stable condition, police said.

Police do not believe the shooting was random. Police were still investigating the shooting.
