1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Shootout Outside Livonia Liquor Store: Police
A 27-year-old Redford woman was shot to death outside a Livonia liquor store Tuesday morning, according to police.
LIVONIA, MI — One woman was killed and two other people were wounded in a Tuesday morning shootout outside a Livonia liquor store, according to police.
Police said a 27-year-old woman from Redford and a 24-year-old woman from Detroit began arguing inside the liquor store, located at 13820 Merriman Road, at 1 a.m.
The two women exited the store and were still arguing in the parking lot where the 24-year-old woman fatally shot the 27-year-old woman from Redford, police said.

A 25-year-old Detroit man - who was with the Redford woman - also had a handgun and returned fire, striking the 24-year-old Detroit woman and a 24-year-old Warren man who was with her, police said.
The Detroit woman and the Warren man were taken to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds and were later released, police said.

Officers arrested the Detroit woman in connection to the shooting, police said. Officials noted she did have a concealed pistol license (CPL).
Officers also arrested the Detroit man who returned fire because he had an expired concealed pistol license (CPL).
Officers found both handguns at the scene, police said.
Police do not believe the two women knew each other and do not know what sparked the argument that led to the deadly shooting.
Police were still investigating the shooting.
