1 Dead In I-275 Crash In Wayne County: Reports

LIVONIA, MI — A 21-year-old Plymouth man was killed in a crash on Interstate 275 in Livonia Thursday morning, according to a Fox 2 Detroit report.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near 8 Mile Road, according to road officials.

Police told the news station the man was driving a Chevy Camaro too fast for the slippery conditions when he spun out and was struck by a semi-truck.

As of 8:30 a.m. Thursday, all Interstate 275 southbound lanes in the area were still closed. Road officials encouraged drivers to reenter the highway at 7 Mile Road.
