WESTLAND, MI — A person was killed Tuesday night in a fatal pedestrian crash in Westland, according to multiple reports.

The person was walking along the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Merriman Road near a Kroger store at roughly 9 p.m. when they were hit by the car, according to multiple reports.

It was unclear if the driver of the car stopped or sped away from the intersection.
