13-Year-Old Girl Killed In Canton Shooting: Police

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 13-year-old girl was killed in a shooting Tuesday in Canton Township, according to police.

The shooting happened at 12:30 p.m. at the Ridgeline Apartments, which are located off of Joy Road and Honeytree Boulevard, according to police.

One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting, according to police.

Police said there is no additional threat to the community.
