19-Year-Old Wixom Teen Killed By Drunk Driver

WIXOM, MI — A 19-year-woman woman from Wixom was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver Wednesday night in Kalamazoo.

Bailey Broderick was a student at Western Michigan University and was fatally stuck while crossing a street near campus, Fox 2 Detroit reported.

"We are mourning the loss of our young STAR and ask for your prayers and special intentions for the Broderick family, and the entire SCA community," her high school St. Catherine of Siena Academy said in a Facebook post.

The 19-year-old suspected drunk driver was arrested at the scene by Kalamazoo Police, MLive reported.
