2 Companies to Invest Combined $11.1M in Canton
Both companies received 50 percent, four-year tax abatement incentives from Canton Township. Together, the companies will create 37 jobs.

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI – Two neighboring but separate companies on Canton’s northeast side, Fraza Forklifts and G-Teki America, plan to invest a combined $11.1 million and create 37 new jobs.
The Canton Township Board of Trustees approved 50 percent, four-year tax abatement incentives for both companies last week, The Canton Observer reports.

Fraza, which is relocating from Plymouth Township, will build a $4.7 million, 60,000-square-foot headquarters building in an industrial district on Commerce Drive, southeast of Koppernick and Interstate 275.

The company, which distributes Caterpillar parts and rents forklifts, will create 27 new jobs over two years, vice president and chief financial officer Roger Runyan said.
G-Teki, which supplies automotive body frame components, plans to invest $6.4 million in an expansion that will add 19,000 square feet and create up to 10 new jobs at its Canton facilities.
