2 Dead, 1 Hurt In I-275 Crash In Plymouth Township: Police
A 46-year-old woman from Jasper and a 21-year-old from Canton were killed in the crash, according to Michigan State Police.

PLYMOUTH-TOWNSHIP, MI — Two people were killed and another person was injured early Sunday morning after a crash on Interstate 275 in Plymouth Township, according to Michigan State Police.
A Ford Edge was moving south on Interstate 275 near Ann Arbor Trial at 3:25 a.m. when the driver lost control of the SUV, which crossed over the median and up the embankment on the northbound side of the freeway, according to police.
The SUV then rolled back down the embankment and onto the northbound lanes on the freeway where it was hit by a Buick LaCrosse, according to police.

The driver of the Ford Edge, a 46-year-old woman from Jasper and a passenger, a 21-year-old from Canton were killed in the crash, according to police.
The driver of the Buick suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to police.

Police determined neither the driver nor the passenger in the SUV were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Police do not know why the SUV left the roadway.
The freeway was shut down for hours, but has since reopened, according to police.
Police were still investigating the crash and waiting for medical examiner reports.
