2 Dead, 1 Injured In Westland Shooting: Reports

Two people were killed and another person was injured in a Monday murder-suicide​ in Westland, according to multiple reports.

WESTLAND, MI — Two people were killed and another person was injured in a Monday murder-suicide in Westland, according to multiple reports.

Officers found two people shot to death and one suffering a gunshot wound at 6:15 p.m. inside a home in the 2300 block of Deerfield Court, near Wildwood and Palmer, according to police.

The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital where their condition was unknown, according to police.

Neighbors told FOX 2 Detroit they believe the shooter killed his boyfriend's handicapped 74-year-old mother and shot his boyfriend in the head, before he fatally shot himself inside the home.

Police were still investigating the shooting.
