2 Women Killed In Wayne Shooting, Suspect Identified: Police

Police said the two women were shot on Niagara Street, near Michigan Avenue​ and South Merriman Road.​

WAYNE, MI — Two women were shot to death by a man in a Wayne on Wednesday night, Wayne Police said.

Christopher Lewis Greer, 32, is accused of shooting 30-year-old Dominique Parchman and her 18-year-old sister Shyanna Hall on Niagara Street, near Michigan Avenue and South Merriman Road, police said.

Officers said they found Parchman dead on the scene and Hall critically wounded from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died, police said.

Police said a fight broke out between Greer and Parchman, who had been dating for several years, on Wednesday night. The fight escalated into Greer shooting both women to death, police said.

Greer then fled the scene in a 2006 Dodge Charger, which was found abandoned near Michigan Avenue and Hewitt Road in Ypsilanti Township, police said.

Police described Greer as Black, standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a thick, dark-colored winter coat, black winter hat, and jeans.
