Accused Leader of Home Break-In Faces Sentencing in March

Ramon Michael Payne worked with two 18-year-old Livonia women to commit a Canton home invasion in January, authorities claim.

The man who is being accused of heading a Canton home invasion could be looking at a 15-year prison sentence, according to a HometownLife report.

Ramon Michael Payne, 28, of Monroe, will be sentenced March 26 in Wayne County Circuit Court, the report stated. He pled guilty to second-degree home invasion Feb. 10, in connection with a Jan. 7 home break-in in the 6100 block of Stonetree Drive, the report stated.

Authorities claim Payne worked with two 18-year-old Livonia women on the home invasion, the report stated. Milan Monet and Derricka Anne Allen will be sentenced March 24, the report added.
