2 Men Charged In Deadly Livonia Stabbing: Police

Two men have been charged in connection with a deadly stabbing in Livonia last week, according to police.

LIVONIA, MI — Two men have been charged in connection with a deadly stabbing in Livonia last week, according to police.

Nicholos Hatcher, 34, of Detroit, was stabbed to death at 4:32 p.m. last Thursday in the area of Middlebelt Road and Orangelawn Street, according to police.

Spencer Krusell, 30, of Highland Park, was charged with second-degree murder and habitual offender (fourth offense).

Scott Harrington, 26, of Taylor, was charged with larceny in a building and receiving and concealing stolen property.

Both were placed in jail where Krusell received zero bail and Harrington was given a $400,000 bond. Their next court date is scheduled for June 11.

Police said Krusell and Harrington stole Hatcher's backpack at the BioLife Plasma Services center on Plymouth Road in Livonia.

Hatcher followed Krusell and Harrington to a nearby location where police said he confronted them. Krusell fatally stabbed Hatcher in the chest, according to police.

Krusell and Harrington ran away from the scene to a neighboring city, which police did not specify. They were eventually arrested.
