Attention Canton Voters

With the August 4 Primary Election fast approaching, Canton’s Clerk’s Office would like to remind voters of the following:

• There’s still time to register to vote in person. The Clerk’s Office will be open for election business ONLY on Thursday, July 30 from 9am-3pm, Saturday, August 1 from 8:30am – 4:30pm and Monday, August 3 from 9am – 4pm.

• If you haven’t already mailed in your Absentee Ballot, we strongly encourage you to drop it off either in person or in a drop box located outside of Canton’s administration building. Canton has two drop box locations, one on the side of the building and a drive-up drop box located in the parking lot behind the administration building.

• All polling places will be open for voting on Election Day for voters who choose not to request an Absentee Ballot. The Clerk’s Office is ensuring election procedures maximize the safety of election workers and voters alike, while maintaining accessibility of the voting process.

• Visit www.mi.gov/vote to check ballot status, voter registration and polling locations.
