Aug. 2 Primary Ballots Set in Plymouth, Canton Townships
Republicans dominate elections in Plymouth Township, while Canton Township features full slate of both Democrats and Republicans.

PLYMOUTH-CANTON, MI – Ballots have been finalize for Aug. 2 primary ballots in Plymouth and Canton townships.

Voters must be registered by July 5 to vote in the Aug. 2 primary. The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general election is Oct. 11.

- Republicans Kurt Heise and Shannon Price (incumbent)
- Democrats (none)
Township Clerk
- Republicans Nancy Conzelman (incumbent) and Jerry Vorva
- Democrat Mary Siefert
Township Treasurer
- Republicans Mark Clinton and Ron Edwards (incumbent)
- Democrats (none)
Township Trustees (four open positions)
- Republicans Chuck Curmi (incumbent), Bob Doroshewitz (incumbent), Jack Dempsey, Gary Heitman, Mike Kelly (incumbent), Michael Oliansky, Thomas Parrelly, Alexander Roehl, Don Schnettler and Teresa Somercik.
