Bicyclist Dies After Getting Hit By Car In Canton: Police
Police said the bicyclist was hit Saturday morning on Michigan Avenue, west of Hannan Road. The driver was not injured in the crash.
CANTON, MI — A bicyclist was struck and killed by a car early Saturday morning on Michigan Avenue in Canton, police said.
Police said the 28-year-old man from Milan was cycling on Michigan Avenue just west of Hannan Road at 2:30 a.m. when he was hit by a red Ford Fusion. He was found dead at the scene where he was hit by the car.
The 31-year-old Detroit man driving the Fusion was not injured in the crash, officials said. Police do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.

Officials did not release the name of the driver, as police continue to investigate the crash.
