Brief: North Canton Building is approved for new sign

North Canton Building was approved by the Canton Zoning Board of Appeals to be able to put a 36 square foot sign in front of their establishment. 

North Canton Building has three different tenants including Michigan Orthopedic Specialist, North Canton Orthodontics and Plymouth-Canton Family Health. The building is located at 44633 Joy Road on between Sheldon and Canton Center. 

Currently, the building only has a directional sign. 

Dr. Jerome Bekker, family practitioner at the Plymouth-Canton Family Health, said people often have a hard time finding the building.

"We even had Canton fire department have a hard time finding us, which is scary for us," Bekker said. "The signage is very much needed and appreciated."
