Brief:Canton Board Trustees Approve Housing Develeopment Plans

Two housing development projects that will both be located on Cherry Hill Road was approved at the Canton board of trustees meeting. 

Garden Villas at Cherry Hill, which will be located between the east side of Denton and south on Cherry Hill Road, was approved at the meeting on July 8. Preliminary approval was also given to the River Hill Ridge, which would be located on Harrison and Cherry Hill Road. 

The Garden Villas at Cherry Hill is being produced by Robertson Brothers Homes. The  development will include 34 one-story condos that will be marketed towards young professionals. 

Livonia Builders, which is producing the River Hill Ridge, hopes to start building the complexes next summer. 

The Trustees also set a public hearing date to discuss the Procoil Industrial Facilities possible tax exemption certification. That hearing will be on August 12.
