Buddy's Pizza Opening Canton Township Restaurant: Here's Where
Detroit-style pizza maker Buddy's is opening its 23rd Michigan location in Canton Township.

CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Detroit-style pizza maker Buddy's is opening its 23rd Michigan location in Canton.
The new 1,500-square-foot carry-out location will be located along a busy stretch of Ford Road just west of the Lilley Road at 42911 Ford Road.
The pizza maker did not reveal an exact opening date.

Buddy's Pizza also has nearby restaurants in Farmington Hills, Livonia, Novi and Plymouth Township.
The first Buddy's restaurant opened in 1946 at the corner of Six Mile Road and Conant Street in Detroit. The restaurant was previously a speakeasy called Buddy’s Rendezvous.

Buddy's is known for their Detroit-style pizzas, which uses a special blend of Wisconsin brick cheese, fresh ingredients and building from the bottom up: dough, cheese and sauce on top.
Buddy's says their Detroit-style pizzas are made with "the same things that made Detroit – a little bit of ingenuity, some stubborn spirit and a whole lot of heart," according to its website.
