Canton Drunken Driver Smashes Into Police Car, Injures Officer: Police
The trooper was inside the patrol car when the happened and was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries, state troopers said.

CANTON, MI — A 33-year-old drunken driver from Canton Township was arrested Monday morning after smashing into the back of a Michigan State Police car, officials said.
The driver was charged with operating while intoxicated, officials said.
State troopers said the officer was blocking part of the right lane on westbound Interstate 94 near Zeeb Road in Scio Township at 1:46 a.m. to investigate a crash when the 33-year-old from Canton crashed into the patrol car.
