This line is not intended for medical advice or financial assistance.
March 24, 2020
Canton has set up a COVID-19 Resource Center hotline intended to be used as a request for emergency resources for individuals who are homebound, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Those needing assistance are encouraged to leave their name, phone number, and what assistance is being requested (i.e. food, toiletries, non-narcotic medicalsupplies, etc.). This line is not intended for medical advice or financial assistance.

The Center is also designed to receive and coordinate offers of help from those in the position to provide assistance. In order to respond to these requests, Canton Public Safety and representative volunteers are offering a ‘porch pick-up’ of non-perishable items at this time, including things like Ensure, as well as toiletries. If you are able to donate these items, please call 734/394-5440 or email leisure@canton-mi.org with your address. Volunteers will collect these items from known addresses on Fridays, 9 am-12 noon.
A Resource Center representative will return each call with follow up questions and information, and all calls will be logged and tracked. COVID-19 734/394-5440
