- A 19-year-old Canton man was arrested for riding through Inkster with a rifle on his lap, officials said. Officials said they stopped the man driving a Cadillac XTS at about 9:00 p.m. for speeding in the area of Carlysle and Middle Belt Road. (Detroit News)
- Police are searching for a shooter after officers said shots were fired at a Northville apartment complex Friday morning. Police said someone fired shots at the complex at the Park Place Apartments in the area of 8 Mile Road and Silver Springs Drive at 2:45 a.m. (Plymouth Patch)
