Canton Man Dies After Single-Car Crash

An medical emergency is believed to be responsible for the 84-year-old driver losing control of his car and hitting a sign.

An 84-year-old Canton man died Monday after he was involved in a single-car crash that was thought to be caused by an unidentified medical emergency, according to a HometownLife report.

Canton police have not released the man who was driving north on Sheldon Road when he lost control of his car and slammed into road sign, the report stated. Police said the crash was not responsible for the cause of death, the report added.
