Canton Police Ask for Help Finding Fraud Suspect
The man seen in surveillance photos is suspected of identify theft and fraud at the Chase Bank in Canton.
The is asking the public's help with finding an identity theft and bank fraud suspect.
The image of the man was captured on Aug. 23 as he stood at a teller's window in Chase Bank, 45345 Ford Rd.
Canton Police Detective Sgt. Dave Schreiner said police have been investigating the case for some time. Getting digital images of suspects in cases like this requires getting the video and using technology to covert it into a usable format, he added.

Schreiner said the photos are being publicized after other area departments reported a similar-looking suspect in the same types of crimes.
"These guys usually don't stop until they get caught," Schreiner said.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Canton Police Department at 734-394-5400. Anonymous tips may be also be shared with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP, or online at www.1800speakup.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for a tip leading to an arrest.
