Canton Police Say Man Tried To Abduct Student From Bus Stop

CANTON, MI — A man tried to abduct a 12-year-old boy from his bus stop in Canton on Wednesday morning, Canton Police said.

Police said the man tried to physically take the boy from his bus stop at 7:20 a.m. on the 51074 block of Mott Road (College Park Mobile Homes).

The boy was able to fight off the man and run away from the area, police said.

Police described the suspect as a white man around 30-years-old, six feet tall with a thin build and clean shaved with short blond spiked hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and gray pants, and driving a white 4-door sedan, which was possibly a Ford Taurus, police said.
