This community event will be held at Heritage Park on December 1st and 2nd from 5-8 p.m.

(Canton, MI – November 22, 2021) Area residents are invited to kick off the holiday season with a special Winter Wonderland Walk in Heritage Park that will be held on December 1 and 2 from 5-8 p.m. Participants can experience seasonal light displays and festive decorations around the scenic large pond, visits with Santa, ice carvings, live music, and more!

All ages are welcome to stroll through the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season in Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road in Canton, MI.

“We’re hoping folks gather up their friends and families to head over to Heritage Park, where they’ll be able to stroll through the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season,” stated Laura Mortier, Recreation Supervisor. “This event will certainly help everyone embrace the holiday spirit and enjoy a festive winter evening outdoors.”

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, along with Great Lakes Confections, will also be onsite selling seasonal refreshments. Pre-registration is required by midnight on November 30, and each participant must have a ticket for entry. Tickets are just $5 per person for Canton residents and $7 per person for non-residents. Purchase your ticket online at www.cantonfun.org and choose your timeslot.

This special event will be held entirely outdoors, so participants should dress accordingly. Strollers and wagons are also recommended for the littlest participants. Check-in is required at the Canton Mobile Trailer, located near the clocktower in Heritage Park.
