A 19-year-old Canton woman is trying to win the grand prize on the season finale of NBC's "The Voice" this week.
CANTON, MI — A 19-year-old Canton woman is trying to win the grand prize on the season finale of NBC's "The Voice" this week.
Grace West advanced to the final stage after signing her rendition of the Tammy Wynette country classic "Til I Can Make It On My Own" last week. She'll face fellow finalists NOIVAS, Gina Miles, Sorelle and D. Smooth for the grand prize, a recording contract.
For her first performance Monday night, West performed Reba McEntire’s "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia."

Coach Niall Horan said West's final two performances were her best of the season.

The winner will be announced Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on NBC (channel 4).
Fans can vote for their favorite artist, starting Monday night at 8 p.m. by using The Voice's official app, or voting online at NBC.com/VoiceVote.
West describes herself as a modern country-pop artist with "with a timeless twang," according to her website. She grew up singing at family events, school and church and has performed the national anthem for the Detroit Tigers.
At 16, she was signed to a publishing deal with a music company in Nashville, where she moved in 2021 to pursue her career, according to her website.
"I am so beyond grateful for everyone who voted and who has supported me this far," West said in a Facebook post after reaching the finals.
