Downtown Plymouth Doubles Bike Racks

Bicyclists now have access to 75 different bike racks throughout downtown Plymouth.

Plymouth, MI – Bicyclists will now be able to utilize 75 bike different bike racks throughout downtown Plymouth.

The Plymouth Observer reported that the Downtown Development Authority, in partnership with the Wilcox Foundation, doubled the number of bike racks recently after the area saw a rise in bikers.

“We saw more people riding their bikes downtown and we didn’t have as many places as we would like to park bikes,” said Tony Bruscato, DDA executive director.

New bike racks were installed at the Gathering, Forest and Wing, Wing and Harvey and single parking posts on Penniman, east of Harvey.
