Errant Ball Almost Causes Fight at Canton Kroger
Police had to stop 2 women from coming to blows last week after one of them was accidentally hit with a ball in the store.

Two women almost tussled last week in a Canton grocery store after a ball took a bad bounce and hit one of them, according to a Hometown Life report.
Canton police were called at about 7:30 p.m. June 3, to the Kroger store on Michigan Avenue to defuse an argument between a 22-year-old Bellville woman and a 23-year-old Canton woman, the report stated. The two began feuding after the Canton woman’s daughter accidentally hit the Bellville woman with a ball, the report added.

According to police, the Bellville woman was screaming loudly and threatened the Canton woman and her daughter, the report stated.
Both women were issued disorderly conduct citations, the report added.
