F L I G H T Acrodance Conventions brings Le PeTiT CiRqUe to Canton

America's Only All-Kid Cirque Company

CANTON MI– No need to travel to Las Vegas this summer, the circus is coming to Canton!

Prodigies, Guinness Book of World Records and world champion kids all assembled together, will perform one cirque-style show, Saturday Aug. 26th, 7pm at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill, Canton, MI. Tickets go on sale beginning June 3rd, 2017 at www.cantonvillagetheater.org.

All tickets are reserved seating: Adults / Seniors / Youth $65.00.

Nathalie Gaulthier’s AWARD-WINNING Le PeTiT CiRqUe® is one of the most unique, innovative and inspirational shows available in North America. It is the only all-kid humanitarian cirque company in the world, comprised of eye-popping, pro-level children aged 5-14. Together, these world class aerial/circus arts child prodigies in dance, music, karate and singing have mesmerized numerous audiences worldwide due to their impressive and empowering message, talent, skill level and young age. Winner of 14 National Youth Awards, Le PeTiT CiRqUe has performed across the US and internationally in Dubai, Canada and Costa Rica.

“This is an exciting and perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity for the Canton community to see a performance like they’ve never seen before!” said Joe Kvoriak, Performing Arts Coordinator at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill.

F L I G H T, America’s Ultimate AcroDance Convention is coming to Canton offering aspiring dancers, gymnasts, circus performers and acrobats the opportunity to advance their training to the next level.
F L I G H T was created to inspire and educate participants while keeping the highest standards of excellence for Acrobatics training in the United States.

The convention includes 2 jam-packed days of fun-filled classes in Acrobatics, Aerial Dance, Contortion and Flexibility, Dance, Hand Balancing, and Partnering and is available to children 6-19 years of age. 6 levels of training, from primary through pre-professional levels, will be taught by world-class instructors, from as far away as Australia, Canada, the Ukraine, and the United States.

Meaghan Wegg, a former Cirque du Soleil performer who specializes in Aerial Dance, is one of the convention’s guest faculty members. Meaghan holds a diploma from L’Ecole Nationale de Cirque specializing in the highest level of circus coaching. She attracts students from around the world and is highly recommended by Cirque du Soleil.

Tim Smola, F L I G H T AcroDance Convention Founder, is extremely excited about bringing the convention to his hometown of Canton. “Registration has already begun and we have had students from Michigan, as well as, Boston, Indiana, and Ohio already enroll.” says, Mr. Smola. “Circus and Acrobatic Training is the hottest new trend in the dance world. It truly motivates and elevates 5 aspects the dancer’s training including: strength and flexibility, balancing, limbering, and tumbling, as well as emphasizing the dancer’s performance levels.”

The convention is $345 to enroll and will be hosted in Canton, MI at Central City Dance Center. Class Size is limited, so be sure to register early. Registration is processed by mail only.
