Getting To And From Plymouth Art In The Park Easier Than Ever

Hundreds of artists and artisans from around the country will offer their artworks at state's second-largest arts festival.

Plymouth, MI — It will be easier to get to and from the 37th annual Plymouth Art In The Park, a signature Michigan event that runs Friday and runs through Sunday in downtown Plymouth.

A shuttle service will run move visitors efficiently to and from two designated parking areas: the Burroughs site, just east of Haggerty, and at Madonna University on Schoolcraft Road between Levan and Newbaugh, in Livonia.



Parking is free, but shuttle rides cost $3 per person per round trip, and are free for children 12 and younger. The shuttle service will also transport people to and from City Hall.

More than 400 artists from around the United States will attend the fair, the second-largest arts festival in Michigan. Their work runs the gamut of paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, woodwork, photography, folk art and other media. Entertainment and cuisine complement the aesthetics of the art to a sensory filled weekend experience.

Festival hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
