Livonia Police Ask For Help Identifying Tip Jar Thief: VIDEO

Police said the incident happened on Nov. 18 at 7:11 p.m. at a coffee shop in the area of Joy and Hix roads.

LIVONIA, MI — The Livonia Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a woman who stole a tip jar from a Livonia coffee shop.

Police said the incident happened on Nov. 18 at 7:11 p.m. in the area of Joy and Hix roads after the woman placed an order.

While the employee was preparing the order with her back turned to the counter, the woman took the employee's tip jar, concealed it under her jacket and left the store with it, police said.

Police described the woman as a white female with brown hair who was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt, a black North Face jacket and black pants.

If anyone can identity the woman or has any additional information, contact Detective Koss at 734-466-2326 and reference case #21-35824. You may remain anonymous, police said.
