Machete-Wielding Woman Arrested Inside MI Kroger: Reports

YPSILANTI, MI — A woman was arrested Friday after swinging a machete inside a Kroger store in Ypsilanti, according to multiple reports, citing the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said the woman walked into the Kroger store located at 2110 Whittaker Road at roughly 4 p.m. and began swinging a machete near the store's liquor section, according to reports.

Officers said the woman was experiencing a "mental crisis" and arrested her without incident, according to reports.
