Man, 59, Killed In Crash On I-275 In Plymouth Township: MSP
Police said the 59-year-old man was driving a cement truck and smashed into the back of a box truck, which then crashed into a semi truck.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MI — A 59-year-old Lincoln Park man was killed in a crash on Interstate 275 in Plymouth Township Friday afternoon, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened at 3:10 p.m. on northbound Interstate 275 near Ann Arbor Road in Plymouth Township, according to police.
Police said the 59-year-old man was driving a cement truck and smashed into the back of a box truck, which then crashed into a semi truck.

Officials took the 59-year-old man to a nearby hospital, where he later died, according to police.
Police did not report any other injuries.

Concrete, tar and diesel fuel spilled across the freeway, which took officials hours to clean up.
The freeway reopened early Saturday morning.
