Man Dies After Being Struck By 2 Cars On Ford Road In Canton: Police
Canton Police said the man was struck by the vehicles while walking outside the crosswalk at Ford Road near Haggerty Road.
CANTON, MI — A man was killed Wednesday morning after he was struck by two cars while trying to cross a Canton road, according to police.
Police said the 33-year-old Westland man was walking north across Ford Road near Haggerty Road at 5 a.m. when he was hit by two vehicles moving west on Ford Road. The man was not using the crosswalk at the intersection, police said.
The 33-year-old Westland man was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, police said.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Police were still investigating the incident.
Officials reopened the intersection where the crash happened late Wednesday morning.
