Man Killed In Canton Township Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

CANTON, MI — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in Canton, according to police.

The 43-year-old Van Buren Township man was walking in the area of Michigan Avenue near Interstate 275 at 10:38 p.m. when he was hit by a car, police said.

Officers found the man lying dead in the road, police said.

Police said the driver never stopped. They believe a 2010-2011 black Toyota Camry could possibly be connected to the crash.

Police are still investigating the crash.
