Man Killed In Crash On M-14 In Plymouth-Canton Area: Police
Police were still investigating the crash, but do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.

SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, MI — A 56-year-old Texas man was killed in a crash early Sunday morning on Michigan 14 in Washtenaw County, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes on Michigan 14 at the Ford Road exit ramp in Superior Township at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
Investigators believe the man tried to exit the freeway at the Ford Road exit, but "failed to negotiate the ramp," according to police.

The car then went into a ditch and hit multiple trees, according to police.
Officers found the man dead, pinned in the driver’s seat, according to police.

Family members told investigators the man was heading back to Austin after visiting family in Michigan.
