Man Steals School Bus In Washtenaw County, Crashes In Canton: Police
State troopers said the 26-year-old man from Stevenson Lake stole the school bus from the Lincoln Consolidated School District Sunday.

CANTON, MI — A man was arrested Sunday night in Canton Township after Michigan State Police said he stole a school bus from a school district in Washtenaw County.
State troopers said the 26-year-old man from Stevenson Lake stole the school bus from the Lincoln Consolidated School District at 8:20 p.m. Sunday night in Augusta Township.
Once inside the school bus, troopers said the man rammed a locked fence and began driving on Willis Rd., US-23 and Interstate 94.

Troopers tried stopping the bus numerous times before the bus ran a red light and crashed into a pickup truck in Canton Township, officials said.
The man driving the stolen bus was treated for minor injuries and then placed in jail, officials said.
