Man Throws Bottle At Driver On I-275 In Plymouth Township: Police
A 31-year-old Flint man may face charges in connection with the road rage incident, according to Michigan State Police.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MI — A Flint man may face charges in connection with a road rage incident that happened Wednesday morning on Interstate 275 in Plymouth Township, according to Michigan State Police.
A 51-year-old Novi man originally told troopers he was shot at while driving along Interstate 275 between Seven Mile and Five Mile roads at roughly 6:40 a.m., according to police.
The Novi man also told troopers he saw a muzzle flash, according to police.

However, the suspected shooter, a 31-year-old Flint man, told troopers that he had only thrown a bottle at the Novi man's vehicle, according to police.
The Flint man also told troopers he was carrying a firearm, and that he has a CPL.

Investigators did not find any shell casings on the freeway and determined there was no shooting, according to police.
Investigators will turn over their findings to the prosecutor's office for possible charges in connection with the incident.
"There is no reason to allow a driving mistake to put other drivers at risk," Michigan State Police Mike Shaw said in a statement. "If you do see an incident like this, do not engage with the drivers and call 911."
