Northville Couple Dead After Car Hits Tree, Rolls Over: Police
A Northville couple died Saturday morning after a rollover crash, police said.
NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI — A Northville couple died Saturday morning after a rollover crash in Northville, police said.
Omar Salamen, 46, and his 40-year-old wife, Manal Kadry, were killed when their car hit a tree and rolled over in the Steeplechase subdivision near the intersection of Seven Mile and Napier roads shortly after midnight, police said.
Both Salamen and Kadry were found dead in the car as officials used extraction equipment to remove their bodies, police said.

Police believe Salamen was turning around a curve in the neighborhood when the car left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Northville police officials.
Investigators do not know if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash, which authorities were still investigating.

Salamen was a well-known oral surgeon, and Manal Kadry was the founder and principal designer of Manal Kadry Design Collective in Northville. They leave behind four children — three boys and a little girl, according to a Facebook post.
