Pastor, Auto Industry Sales Exec Want Heise's House Seat
Noble appeals to "frustrated," disenfranchised voters; Roosen touts insight into what auto industry needs to run well.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MI – Two Republicans have said they’re candidates in the 2016 primary to select a nominee to run for the District 20 Michigan House seat currently held by Rep. Kurt Heise, R-Plymouth Township.
Heise is prohibited from running again because of term limits.

Candidates so far Praise Baptist Church pastor Jeff Noble, of Plymouth Township, and former Northville Township trustee Chris Roosen, The Plymouth Observer reports.
Both candidates claim to be fiscal conservatives who are able to work with the diverse Michigan House.

Noble, 54, described himself as a “straight shooter” and voice for disenfranchised voters.
“They’re just frustrated with people who say one thing and then get to Lansing or get to Washington and do something else,” he said.
Roosen, 49, said a 25-year career in the automotive industry gives him insight into economic issues facing the district and Michigan.
“I’ve seen what the recession has done multiple times now in my 25-year career,” said Roosen, the global sales manager at Woco Tech USA, which supplies under-the-hood plastic parts to the automotive industry. “I don’t want that to happen again.”
